In over 30 years of private practice, Michael Resnikoff has concentrated his practice in real estate, lender representation and civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels. Mr. Resnikoff has represented institutional and private lenders in commercial and residential foreclosure actions as well as developed proficiency in the associated area of title claim litigation. In these areas, Mr. Resnikoff has pioneered unique strategies and defenses for lender representation in the State and Bankruptcy Courts.

Prior to his association with Bronster LLP, Mr. Resnikoff commenced hundreds of tax lien foreclosure actions and a multitude of mortgage foreclosures in New York State, representing both commercial and private lenders.

Mr. Resnikoff was also the founding partner of Resnikoff & Viscio, P.C., a Long Island, New York based firm, specializing in the areas of real estate, bankruptcy, and litigation.

Prior to starting his own firm, Mr. Resnikoff was the managing bankruptcy attorney for Shapiro & Kreisman, a national law firm focusing in the areas of foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate, and landlord tenant litigation. With more than 30 years of private practice experience, Michael Resnikoff is a seasoned litigator and trusted advisor whose practice focuses on real estate, lender representation, and complex civil litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. He has represented institutional and private lenders in a broad range of commercial and residential foreclosure matters and has developed particular depth in title claim litigation and related disputes.

In these areas, Mr. Resnikoff has been at the forefront of lender-side advocacy, pioneering strategic approaches and defenses in New York State and Bankruptcy Courts that have shaped effective outcomes in high-stakes matters.

Prior to joining Bronster LLP, Mr. Resnikoff prosecuted hundreds of tax lien foreclosure actions and numerous mortgage foreclosures throughout New York State, representing a diverse portfolio of commercial and private lending clients.

Mr. Resnikoff is also the founding partner of Resnikoff & Viscio, P.C., a Long Island–based firm that concentrated on real estate, bankruptcy, and litigation, further solidifying his reputation for practical, results-driven representation.

Earlier in his career, he served as Managing Bankruptcy Attorney at Shapiro & Kreisman, a national law firm with a focus on foreclosure, bankruptcy, real estate, and landlord-tenant litigation, where he led complex matters and honed the institutional perspective he brings to clients today.
