Deborah Winkler

Deborah Winkler, Esq. is Of Counsel and a member of the Firm’s Bankruptcy, Creditors’ Rights, Financial Services and Litigation Practice Groups.  She represents secured lenders and financial institutions in complex bankruptcy, foreclosure and commercial matters throughout New York and New Jersey.

Ms.Winkler brings more than two decades of experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation, representing banks, lenders, and debtors in matters involving loss mitigation, stay relief, asset disposition, and adversary proceedings.  Her practice also extends to real estate transactions, corporate restructurings, and creditor recovery litigation, covering every stage of a case, from pre-filing investigation and motion practice through settlement, sale, or plan confirmation.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Winkler was an Associate in the Secured Lenders Practice at Moritt, Hock & Hamroff, LLP , where she represented secured lenders in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings.  Prior to that, she served as a Senior Associate at Rimon, P.C. (formerly SilvermanAcampora, LLP) where she advised and supported Chapter 7 Trustees in the evaluation and administration of bankruptcy estates.

Ms. Winkler is admitted to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey.
