Laura Montoya

Laura Montoya is an Associate in the Litigation, Real Estate and Foreclosure Practice Group at Bronster LLP. She focuses on business litigation and is actively involved in litigation matters including tax liens, mortgage foreclosures, corporate and real estate related disputes.

Ms. Montoya holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from Hunter College. During law school, Ms. Montoya was the metro delegate for the Latin American Law Students Association and a member of the Real Estate Association. Ms. Montoya worked as a clerk at a commercial litigation boutique handling business, securities and real estate disputes.

She has prior experience as a legal intern for the Miami Dade State Attorney’s Office, specifically in the Felony A Division. Additionally, Ms. Montoya was student counsel for Cardozo’s Securities Arbitration Clinic representing retail investors and has prior experience in the financial services industry.

Ms. Montoya is proficient in Spanish and conversational in Russian and Italian.
